Why I Built Liortec
I've been following the crypto space for years — not as a trader chasing prices, but as someone fascinated by what self-custody of digital assets actually means. The idea that you can be your own bank, that your wealth can exist beyond the reach of governments, corporations, and hackers — that's genuinely revolutionary.
But then I started seeing the other side of it. Clients who had invested real money, real hope, into digital assets — and lost everything. Not because markets crashed. Because they didn't know how to protect themselves. A forgotten seed phrase. A phishing link clicked in a distracted moment. A hardware wallet purchased from the wrong seller.
Each time I saw it happen, I felt the same thing: this was preventable. Every single time.
